Cookies
Short version: this site sets no cookies. We use PostHog for anonymous analytics, which stores a random id in your browser's local storage.
No cookies
Nothing on this website writes a cookie to your browser, for analytics, advertising, preferences, or anything else. Local storage is used only for the analytics id described below.
The waitlist form's token
The waitlist form uses a short-lived form token instead of a cookie: a value the server hands the page when it loads, checked again when you submit the form, and expired automatically after a few hours. It exists to stop automated abuse of the form. It isn't stored in your browser between visits, isn't used to identify or track you, and isn't a cookie.
Analytics: PostHog and local storage
We use PostHog (PostHog Inc., US) to count visits, see which pages work and catch errors. PostHog saves a random anonymous id in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, so it can tell one visit from another. On driversseat.ai it also records how the page is used (clicks, scrolling) with every form field hidden and the waitlist form excluded. In the DriversSeat app (app.driversseat.ai) the same id is stored in local storage; while you are signed in it is replaced by a one-way scrambled code of your account number, and signing out clears it. Recordings in the app hide all text and inputs and are switched off on the sign-in and billing pages. We never send your name, email, phone number or anything you type into the waitlist or the app. We honour Do Not Track. You can clear the id any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Global Privacy Control
Global Privacy Control (and "Do Not Track") signals are respected by default here, because there's no tracking to opt out of in the first place.
