Disclosures

Plain-language disclosures about how DriversSeat is meant to identify itself to dealerships, how it's paid, and where its data comes from.

The dealer-facing disclosure

Every message a dealership receives from DriversSeat is designed to end with this line:

Powered by DriversSeat.ai

It tells the dealership, on every message, that an AI assistant is involved and that replies reach the buyer directly.

Independence from dealers

DriversSeat is not paid per sale, per lead, or per finance or F&I product sold by any dealership. If a dealer program is ever introduced, the plan is that it would only ever be a flat, disclosed fee that does not change based on whether, or how, a sale happens, and that never changes how a message is drafted for that dealer versus any other.

Third-party data sources

Manufacturer program data (rates, incentives, lease terms) and vehicle listings are meant to come from licensed data providers, not scraped from dealer or manufacturer websites. VIN decoding is meant to use the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's (NHTSA) public VIN decoding service.
